Cub Mom & Me

Take a Walk on the Wild Side on the shores of the Bohicket with this Family Friendly outdoor weekend at Camp Ho Non Wah.  We'll have games and nature-based activities set up along the trail!  Registration deadling 9/20/18

Cub Haunted Weekend

All the ghosts and goblins come out of the woods at Camp Ho Non Wah on this family weekend of camping.  Sponsored by Unali'Yi Lodge 236 Order of the Arrow, this weekend promises to be a spooktacular event with lots of screaming good times.

November 9-11 Training

IOLS Training

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills - Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank. Along with Scoutmaster Specifics this course is required of all direct contact leaders registered in Boy Scout Troops in order to be considered “trained”

Offered by the Power Squadron at Camp Moultrie.  DNR boating training along with the requirements for the merit badge.

November 10-11 Training

BALOO

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation - This one-and-a-half day course is designed as an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for leaders interested in adding a camping component to their Pack activities. BALOO training consists of an online pre-requisite component in addition to an overnight hands on practical. BSA’s Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the discovery of the necessary tools to help units carry our a successful camping experience. Completion of this course is mandatory for a MINIMUM OF ONE adult on a Pack overnighter.

October 6, 2018 Activities

Sea Spot Run 

Come out to the pier in Mt. Pleasant to fish in the annual Sea Spot Run fishing activity.  Cub Scouts can learn fishing techniques and practice catch and release.  Boy Scouts can work on their Fishing Merit Badge with a counselor onsite to sign off the completed requirements.

September 23, 2018 Activities

BSA Rifle Merit Badge Qualification Shoot

This is for Scouts that have completed the merit badge workbook or have a partial completed on their Blue Card from camp.  Copies need to be brought to the event.  If the Scout has NOT sat through the required safety lessons the Scout is not eligible for this shoot.  

Adult leader or parent must be present.

This is for Scouts that have completed the merit badge workbook or have a partial completed on their Blue Card from camp.  Copies need to be brought to the event.  If the Scout has NOT sat through the required safety lessons the Scout is not eligible for this shoot.
